The DuBois Area High School rifle team won its third straight state high school smallbore rifle championship this past weekend at the DuBois Rifle & Pistol Club. DuBois won a nail-biter, scoring 2161 points. North Star took second with a score of 2160 and Somerset was third with 2159. The DuBois Rifle and Pistol Club recently held a NRA Pistol Instructor Class. Thirteen DuBois Rifle and Pistol Club members attended the class and are now Certified NRA pistol instructors.
