The DuBois Area High School and DuBois Central Catholic High School Rifle Teams co hosted the “First
Shooting for a Wish Fundraiser” on February 18th at the DuBois Rifle and Pistol Club.
The JV match and the Varsity match was won by DuBois Area High School.
Approximately 200 people and team members attended the event. A “celebrity” match was held between the
DuBois City manager, Herm Suplizio and Sandy Township Manager, Dave Monella.
Coming out on top was Dave Monella with the win and the bragging rights.
Several other celebrity matches were held between the two school’s, Athletic Directors, Principals and Teachers.
The event raised $1600.00 for ” Make A Wish’.
A huge thank you goes out to the community, teachers, and administration for making this event a huge success.
